What is included

This is a general list of the items that are typically included and not included in the price of your safari if you are booking an itinerary or tailor-made trip with us.  These occasionally vary, so please consult your personal quotation to confirm.

INCLUDED

 

Internal Flights

Usually all the flights within Tanzania are in your pricing, but if you have an unusual route this may not be the case, so please do check.

Transfers

Transfers to and from all airports and hotels or camps are included in the cost.

Accommodation

All accommodation while in Tanzania is included.

Meals

All of your meals throughout your itinerary with us are included.

Park Fees

All applicable park fees are included in the cost.

Drinks, including alcoholic beverages (but excluding premium imported liquors), may be included during your stay at Lupita Island Resort and at some of the camps in your itinerary, depending on which package you book – but it is best to check as some camps do not include complimentary beverages.

Daily Laundry Service

Free daily laundry service is provided at Lupita Island Resort and at some of the camps in your itinerary – but it is best to check as some camps do not include complimentary laundry.
As a general rule you need to be staying a minimum of 2 nights at the property so that laundry can be dried and aired.

Some Beverages and Services

Premium imported liquor and cigars, alcoholic beverages and laundry at some hotels and lodges are not included, so please check your quote.

Optional services and excursions

PADI diving, water skiing, fishing excursions, boat rental and spa services are extra.

 

Travel Insurance

We advise you to take out fully comprehensive travel insurance (not included) and travel with a copy of your health insurance.  We strongly recommend medical evacuation insurance which can be obtained from travel insurance companies for a nominal charge.

Visas

There is a visa cost of $50 per person for UK and EU citizens and $100 for American citizens, payable on arrival in Tanzania.

Gratuities

We recommend $20 per guest per day in camps and on the island (depending on the quality of the service you receive)

International Flights

You are responsible for booking your flight to and from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Dar es Salaam (DAR).
